The Good You Leave Behind

While the majority of you have only read the first novel in the Legacy series, I'm getting prepped to start the fifth, Fury. I try to paint a struggle and some sort of message in everything that I write and Fury in particular will dive into being a good person vs. being popular. Characters will struggle between maintaining a cool image or sacrificing themselves for the greater good. It's a relevant issue we've all wrestled with at some point,  especially in our younger years. I'm excited about this novel because it involves dilemnas where I'd have to ask myself what I would choose. You want to say you'd do the right thing. Truth is, you don't necessarily know.  I think, at the end of the day, you should want to do good. It's the good you leave behind that makes people truly remember you. It's how you leave your legacy.
