Tortoise Planning

Having some trouble lately. It's been awhile since I've written anything, story-wise. The past few months have really been dedicated to trying get my first novel off the ground. A lot goes into it and, honestly, I could probably be doing more. That being said, I'm trying to get myself back into writer's mode. This time around, I'll be working on two books: Fury, the fifth novel in the Legacy series (yay) and The Last Human Chef (double yay). I've been working on planning for the latter while currently reading through the third Legacy novel Blaze. Big things are happening, or at least they will be anyway. Therein lies my dilemna...

Planning, which is usually my favorite part of the writing process, has been very slow going. I think I'm having the most issues with how old I want my main character to be. A big critique I got from agents/publishers was one of my characters Klarvid Organon was a bit too young to be in the situations he was involved in. This time around, I want to do a younger character again...but not too young. Decisions decisions...I'm hoping I can get my literary car out of the mud and get on the road soon! Target Start Date: May 23rd, 2015!

Stay tuned.
